ABOUT ME
Tey Clamor, LPS is an award-winning cinematographer, underwater DP, and documentarist, with meaningful contributions to local films such as Babae at Baril, Balota, and Metamorphosis. In recent years, she has also worked with international directors including Lauren Greenfield (The Kingmaker), Lomorpich Rithy aka Yoki (Unbroken — Cambodia’s first music video shot by a female DP), Si You Tan (Amoeba, Cold Cut – Cannes Directors’ Factory), and Sze-wei Chan (Tens Across the Borders).
Tey holds a deep belief in the quiet strength of collective action and continues to find meaningful ways to help foster a more sustainable and compassionate film industry. She previously served as Vice President for External Affairs of the Lupon ng Pilipinong Sinematograpo, and is an active member of the International Collective of Female Cinematographers. She also founded Water Gun: We Shoot Water, a female-led underwater cinematography team in the Philippines, which has contributed to both local and international productions such as Bayou and Electric Child.
In 2019, Tey was selected as one of the first mentees of the American Society of Cinematographers’ Vision Mentorship Program, and became one of the first to be featured in the American Cinematographer magazine. In 2023, she made history as the first Filipina to be named an ASC Masterclass Scholar. A proud ambassador of Sony Philippines and Aputure, Tey continues to use her platform and partnerships to nurture her craft and champion the next generation of storytellers.
